Ingredients::
- ⅓ cup of honey
- ¼ cup of soy sauce
- 3 tbsp. of worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp. of minced garlic
- Uncooked shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 2 tbsp. of olive oil/butter
- Frozen Broccoli
- 1 cup of SmartRice cooked
Directions:
- In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic.
- Separate the mixture in half into two separate bowls.
- Add the shrimp to one of the bowls. Make sure your shrimp is thawed, peeled, and deveined before cooking!
- Coat the shrimp with the sauce, cover, and place it in your refrigerator to marinate for 30 minutes - 2 hours.
- Once marinated, add the shrimp to a pan over a low-medium heat with either butter or olive oil. Discard the used marinate. Cook on one side for 1-2 minutes (or until pink).
- While the shrimp is cooking, prepare your broccoli in a separate pot.
- Flip the shrimp and add the remaining sauce to the pan. Let this simmer on low for a few minutes.
- Add SmartRice, broccoli, and honey garlic shrimp to a bowl and enjoy!
