Our Rice Pudding is not only easy to make, but it also tastes delicious! Make this yummy dessert for your family, next party, or as a little snack for one at home.
Ingredients:
- – 2 1/2 cups of whole milk.
- – 1/3 cups of cooked rice.
- – 1/2 tsp. of salt
- – 1/4 cup of sugar
- – 2 tsp. of vanilla extract.
- – 1/4 cup of sugar.
- – 1/4 tsp. of cinnamon.
- Serves 3 people.
Directions:
- – In a medium heavy bottomed sauce pan, combine milk, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil over a medium heat.
- – Reduce the heat to low and slowly mix in cooked rice. Make sure you keep your mixture at a low simmer.
- – Stir often so it does not stick to the bottom of the pan, for about 35-40 minutes. The mixture should have the consistency of oatmeal.
- – Once thickened, remove from heat and stir in vanilla and cinnamon.
- – Let cool and then refrigerate for 1 hour.
- – Serve and enjoy!
